What a weird freaking time life is right now. We as humans go from being some of the kindest souls to some of the nastiest in .02 seconds. I know this is HARD. I know this is SCARY. But, I also know there is SO much false information out there and trying to keep up with it all is utterly exhausting!
My hope for you all on this day is simply this: put down the technology. Step away from the news, the updates, the numbers, the opinions of everyone, and just BE. Do something you love today. That can be your favorite yoga session, a book you love, watching your favorite Disney movie, take a mid-day nap (hello sleep lovers ♀️), or even journal your feelings and dreams for when everything has passed.
Confession: I’m not perfect (shocker, I KNOW!) And I have good days and bad days. I have days where tears roll down my cheeks and I feel so much anger. I want to lash out and say mean things. But the truth of that is, I am NOT good with letting go of the control. I have NO control in this and that is HARD for me. So if you’re anything like me and can recognize that within yourself, direct that emotion into something you CAN control.
My goals for today include: trying a new recipe I’ve never made (homemade zucchini bread!), trying a challenging yoga session, and updating my website.
I promise that this won’t last forever, nothing ever does. If you are only focusing on the news and all the things you aren’t able to do, you will never see the able. We are given TIME right now….what are you going to do with yours?
